It’s the last event of the year and the opening event of 2011 – presenting the Malakoff Interstate Fellowship Ride!

The event will cover 2 days of cycling around Penang Island, starting from Youth Park, Penang and crossing Penang Bridge on the second day for the ride into Perak and Kedah, that ends in Autocity Juru.

The distance for Day 1 is 60km, and Day 2 will be approximately 170km.

Registration fee is RM50 and a cycling jersey will be given out to cyclists.



The inaugural ride last year attracted 700 participants. This year, the ride is expected to attract 1,000 participants.

This year’s fellowship ride aims to raise at least RM50,000 to be donated to charities. Last year, we donated RM30,000 to NASOM.

This ride is organised and ‘powered’ by Malakoff in collaboration with the Knight of the Round Table (KOTRT) cycling club (technical), Penang State Government (Support), Majlis Sukan Pulau Pinang (Coordination), Auto City and Youth Park (Venues), Delta (Registration), Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Pulai Pinang (MPPP) and Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (logistics) and PDRM (road safety).
